Please note: The Headstone Manor House building is closed for essential restoration works until September 2017.
FREE Sunday Tours
While the Manor House is being restored, we will be giving FREE Sunday tours of the site!
Please note: There will not be a tour on Sunday 10th July 2016.
Find out about the history of the Manor and the plans for it to become a Museum telling the story of Harrow from Roman times until the 20th Century!
Enjoy an illustrated talk about the Manor House every Sunday from 3pm – 4pm inside the Granary, followed by a walk round the site led by one of our enthusiastic and knowledgeable tour guides. The tour also includes a quick peek inside the beautiful Great Barn (unless the building is in use for a private event)!
Please note: On occasion, we may need to cancel a Sunday Tour when both the Granary and Barn are required for a private event. Please check tour availability by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org before planning your trip.
Please contact us in advance if you are planning to attend but have mobility issues.
Harrow History Trails
Seven panels displayed in various locations around the site provide a family-friendly introduction to the history of Harrow from Prehistoric, Saxon and Medieval to Tudor, Victorian and WWII eras. An audio version of the trail is also available from the information desk.
Pick up a Trail Pack at the desk, and find out what you didn’t know about Harrow!
